Frequently Asked Questions
🪂 Tandem Skydive Experience & Timing
How long will my Tandem Skydive Take?
You should anticipate spending about 3 hours with us for your tandem skydive. There could be delays due to weather that are unforeseen but we do our best to communicate that with you as soon as we possibly can.
Should I eat something before I jump?
ABSOLUTELY!
Please eat a nutritious meal before skydiving. NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS before making your skydive. Safety is our utmost priority and this could hinder you from making your skydive.
📋 Reservations, Age & Weight Requirements
Do I need a reservation?
We HIGHLY recommend it. While we can occasionally honor walk-ins we CANNOT guarantee we will have room for you, so please make a reservation. Click here to schedule a reservation
How old do I need to be?
To be able to book and do a tandem skydive, or any type of skydive you must be at least 18 years old. This will be verified by ID on the day of the jump.
Is there a weight restriction?
For the safety of our tandem students and our tandem instructors there is a weight restriction. 250 pounds is the max weight for a tandem skydive. Anyone that is 210-250 pounds will need to pay an additional $40 charge.
👕 What to Wear & Bring
What should I wear?
Wear something that you don’t mind getting a little dirty and dress comfortable. Keep in mind it’s usually a little cooler at altitude than on the ground. Tennis shoes, jeans, sweats, shorts, leggings and if it’s cold, bring an extra layer or two. If you have long hair, wear it up or in a braid if possible.
Open-toed shoes or sandals and lace up boots/heels are NOT allowed due to safety reasons.
💲 Pricing, Discounts & Tipping
Do you offer discounts?
Yes. We offer discounts for active duty military, veterans, students and group discounts starting at groups of 4 people. Please see our Tandem Skydiving page for details.
Should I tip my instructor?
Yes!
While we will never expect a tip we always appreciate them! We have tip boxes set out and logbooks you can sign. We love reading your feedback and comments from the jump!
📸 Photos, Video & Media Packages
Can I wear a GoPro?
You CAN NOT wear your own camera as a tandem jumper. This is a USPA regulation and has to do with safety for both the students and instructors. If you are an experienced skydiver with at least 200 jumps, you can wear your own camera.
I bought a Media Package - how long will it take to receive it?
You will typically receive your media packages within an hour but can take up to 24 hours if we are extremely busy. They are sent to your email so please remember to check your spam folder.
Can multiple people be filmed at the same time?
We CANNOT video more than one person at a time, other than a quick shot in the plane or on the ground. Each person needs to purchase their own media package if they wish to have video/pictures.
